Episode #1:
19 year-old ninja Miko Mido's fortune predicts that she's about to fall in love when an unexpected downpour throws her into the arms of 20 year-old Hidemasa-- whom she immediately recognizes as the man of her dreams!
Poor Miko must not only stave off the jealousy of a friend, but must put her fantasies on hold when she learns of the mysterious and ancient "male" and "female" flutes which are wreaking havoc on her parents and women on earth. Suspecting that the new man in her life might know something about the flutes, she must enlist his aid... or perish!
In episode 2 Miko and Her friend Fabuki uncover the 400 year old legend of forbidden love between Price Kyoshiro and Princess Shanahime. The two were separated from each other but communicated their love for one another through the music of their flutes. Soon after, Kyoshiro and his mother were murdered-- partly because of Shanahime's unintentional betrayal.
For the next 400 years, Shanahime's ghost assaulted women in an effort to stay youthful for the day when she would be reunited with her beloved Kyoshiro. Miko and her allies must find and destroy the destructive spirit before it is too late!
Episode #2:
Prince Kyoshiro's ghost discoverst hat Princess Shanahime had not, in fact, betrayed him 400 years earlier. Kyoshiro tries to find some way of reviving his beloved Shanahime, using the magical power of the Shikima and the Spider kettle. 19 year-old ninja Miko Mido and her friends employ an ancient incense urn and the cursed flutes in an attempt to reclaim the soul of Miko's first love from Kyoshiro.
Miko devises a plan to destroy kyoshiro and rescue her love. Bathing in the scent of the ancient incense urn, she is sent back in time to discover the truth behind Kyoshiro's murder. In the meantime, the reunited couple venture into the Underworld to claim their revenge against the King of the demonic Shikima, Miko's father, The ghoulish lovers play their respective flutes with dire concequences for the King and Queen. Miko must decide whether to intervene for the sake of her family and risk destroying her first love!
